On April 18&19, 2026 The Sierra Valley Grange will present Gary Allegretto, Tony Argento and Richard Elloyan with Steve Wade.
Gary Allegretto is Cowboy Poetry favorite and a Grammy nominated multiple award winning Western Artist. Horseman Magazine raves, “Gary’s music transcends genres, generations and cultural barriers, yet is professional, engaging and core to the cowboy.” Gary is also the best harmonica player you will ever encounter and is a great singer to top it all off. His talents have earned an IWMA Performer of the Year Award and an AWA Will Rogers Award. We welcome Gary back to entertain us all. Visit Gary’s website: garyallegretto.com
Tony Argento hails from Reno and has performed at our event a few times in the past. “Tuned Up and Twisted Cowboy Poetry at Ifs Bes ~ He is a poet, humorist, story teller along with being very animated. He started “recitin” when he was five years old learning from his “Graddad.” He has performed in many Cowboy poetry events over the years and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for this time. Guaranteed to be entertaining.
Richard Elloyan and Steve Wade are local musicians from Nevada have performed for us in the past. Richard is a 2018 Songwriter of the Year award winner and has been nominated twice for IWMA Song of the Year. He has been a regular on the western music circuit performing in Elko, Colorado, California and many other events. Growing up in Virginia City his songs relate to the history of Nevada’s rich history. Steve grew up in Reno and started playing guitar as a teenager and hasn’t stopped. Along the way he became a cowboy and all that that entails, wrangler, bronc rider, horse trainer and ferrier. He always made time for music and performed in several successful bands. Richard and Steve partnered up several years ago and have released their newest CD Once Upon a Desert Night. They put on a great show and we are pleased to have them back on our stage.
