Vinton, CA 96135 On April 18&19, 2025 The Sierra Valley Grange will present Kristyn Harris, Ron Brinegar and Sourdough Slim & Robert Armstrong
Kristyn Harris ~ Burleson, Texas entailer and multi-award winning singer, songwriter and known for Western swing spin and classic songs of the western and rural lifestyle. She has been named the International Western Music Association (IWMA) Entertainer of the Year six times and has received the IWMA Female Performer of the Year award seven times. In her spare time, she can be found with her Black Angus cattle, training her newest colt, and trick riding. We are thrilled to finally have her at our show after having to cancel a few years back due to the COVID-19 plandemic. Learn more about Kristyn Harris.
Ron Brinegar ~ Known as the “Gentleman Cowboy Poet,” Brinegar will share his classic verses along with his heartwarming and humorous poems. One minute he will tell a tender story of the range, and the next, he will have you laughing at one of his tales about two Nevada cowboys who can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Ron has been performing in Arizona for the past 30 years and has recently relocated to our area, bringing with him his unique style of storytelling and poetry. He performed at the Grange many years ago; welcome back!
Sourdough Slim and Ben Armstrong ~ Sourdough Slim and Ben Armstrong are the last of the Vaudeville Cowboys. They are a marvel of musical ingenuity, combining outrageous humor with song. Their fast-paced, tight performances of country classics and blues are worth a listen as they incorporate their vaudeville flair. Sourdough has been a favorite at the Grange for many years, and we welcome him back along with his sidekick, Ben Armstrong. Learn more about Sourdough Slim.
